Pints for Prostates will have a booth at The Great American Beer Festival on Friday, Oct. 7 from 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. in Denver, CO.
The GABF is held annually in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. Organized by the Brewers Association, the event attracts more than 49,000 beer fans who come to taste more than 2,200 beers from 450 breweries across the United States.
The Brewers Association has provided a booth to Pints for Prostates so the group can continue its mission of reaching men through the universal language of beer.
During the GABF a number of other beer related events take place in the Mile High City, including the Denver Rare Beer Tasting VIII on Oct. 7. That event includes rare, exotic and vintage brews from 50 of the top craft breweries in the country.
About Pints for Prostates
Pints for Prostates reaches men through the universal language of beer to encourage them to take charge of their health. The group was founded by prostate cancer survivor and beer writer Rick Lyke in 2008. The grassroots effort raises awareness among men about the importance of regular men’s health screenings by making appearances at beer festivals, social networking and pro bono advertising. According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 233,000 new prostate cancer cases are diagnosed annually in the U.S. More information is available at www.pintsforprostates.org. Pints for Prostates also has a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@pints4prostates).
