Pints for Prostates will be partnering with US TOO for a fundraising event at The Fish Tale Brewpub in Olympia, WA on Sept. 3.
The Fish Tale Brewpub is the flagship of Fish Brewing Company. The Pub offers a robust menu featuring local, organic meat, bread, and produce. And while the Pub’s selection of beer and cider options can present guests with a daunting selection, there’s sure to be something to your taste – perhaps even one of Fish Brewing Company’s award-winning IPAs, ciders, or porters.
Olympia/Shelton/Tacoma US TOO prostate cancer support groups will be on hand to answer questions, and information/materials will be available regarding prostate cancer causes and risk factors, early detection and screening, and support.
About Pints for Prostates
Pints for Prostates reaches men through the universal language of beer to encourage them to take charge of their health. The group was founded by prostate cancer survivor and beer writer Rick Lyke in 2008. The grassroots effort raises awareness among men about the importance of regular men’s health screenings by making appearances at beer festivals, social networking and pro bono advertising. According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 233,000 new prostate cancer cases are diagnosed annually in the U.S. More information is available at www.pintsforprostates.org. Pints for Prostates also has a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@pints4prostates).
