Prostate cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer death in men. When detected early,
the survival rate for men with prostate cancer is high. Free screenings include blood tests to
check glucose, lipids, PSA and testosterone levels.
Free screenings available for uninsured and high-risk men, including:
• Men 40 to 70 years old with a father, brother or son with prostate cancer
• African-American men 40 to 70 years old
• Men with certain high-risk jobs, including veterans, firefighters and farmers
Screening guidelines are based on 2015 recommendations from the American Urological
Association. Men who’ve had a PSA screening in the past two years or a previous prostate
cancer diagnosis are not eligible.
Registration is required for this event.
