Prostate cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer death in men. When detected early, the survival rate for men with prostate cancer is high. Each screening includes a digital rectal exam and Men’s Health Testing (PSA/LIPIDS/TESTO/GLUCOSE).
Free screenings available for uninsured and high-risk men, including:
• Men 40 to 70 years old with a father, brother or son with prostate cancer
• African-American men 40 to 70 years old
• Men with certain high-risk jobs, including veterans, firefighters and farmers
Screening guidelines are based on 2015 recommendations from the American Urological
Association. Men who’ve had a PSA screening in the past two years or a previous prostate
cancer diagnosis are not eligible.
Registration is required for this event.
Please call Joshua McClure at 980-389-0017 to register.
